I finally snagged a very sought after diaper yesterday, a Goodmama! I'm excited because I have been wanting to buy one for a while, but I just happen to be in the right place at the right time yesterday. It is made out of organic bamboo velour and the snaps and serging are hot pink, it is also a one-size diaper so it fits babies 10-35 lbs. I should be getting it sometime next week, but I can hardly wait to try it.
We've been having some trouble on the home front recently. It's been raining a lot lately, and our roof decided to start leaking. My husband took two days off of work while it was raining to repair the leaks, but it still looks like we'll need a new roof. We really don't mind putting on a new roof because we have never really like the current shingles. It is kind of upsetting because our roof is only seven years old, but stuff happens. We will be so glad when we're out of this house, I am so sick of it. I'm not real fond of the neighborhood, but I HATE the house. I've never liked it, we've updated it a lot, but it still doesn't feel like home. Our current goal to be in our new home is November, so we'll see how that goes. My husband has been working on our driveway at our property, but it's been raining so much that everything is muddy and hard to work with. I'll try my best to update my blog more often, but it always seems like life gets crazier in the summer.
