Hands Full

If I have one more person ask me, "You've got your hands full, don't you?" I am going to scream. All three of the girls could be on their best behavior acting like angels, and people still say that to me. What does it mean anyways? Next time someone says this to me, I am going to promptly reply, "No, my hands aren't full, but my heart is, in fact it is overflowing with love. Now get out of my way!" Ok, I'm not really going to be rude like that, but I don't understand why people need to comment. Maybe it's just me, but I interpret it as a negative comment. A positive comment that I wouldn't mind would be "My what wonderfully behaved children you have." Which by the way, someone has said to me while waiting in line at the Post Office. I guess it's just people that identify the obvious, I mean I think it's rather obvious that I have my hands full with three kids under the age of five. You don't see me going up to an elderly person and telling them that they are old. If I have a long piece of toilet paper stuck to my shoe please tell me, but please don't tell me something I already know. The only exception to this would be if you wanted to tell me how beautiful my children are, that I already know but I don't mind hearing from time to time. I'm now stepping off my soapbox, thanks for reading :)
